Electrical Appliance Testing
New Occupational Health and Safety Regulations now specifically identifies working environments where testing and tagging of electrical equipment is required. If you are an employer or self employed person, you have a duty of care to ensure that employees and visitors to the workplace are safe from injury and risks to health. It is your obligation to manage any safety risks surrounding electrical hazards, in accordance with OHS Regulations 2001.
Electrical Condition Inspections
Electrical Test, Tag and Inspection services will assist employers to fulfill their obligations in regards to providing a safe workplace based on the OH&S Regulations. Our goal is to eliminate workplace injuries caused by faulty electrical equipment.
RCD (Safety Switch) Testing
Residual Current Devices or RCD’s are a fantastic life saving device however they require to be tested regularly beyond the monthly activation of the test button to ensure they will work in the event of an Electrical accident or fault. Australian Standards AS 3760:2010 recommends testing of RCD’s every 6-month’s for commercial properties and 2-years for residential premises.
Thermo-graphic Scanning
We have a state of art thermal camera and software in-house, that our trained technicians can use to scan your equipment and advise you on any restorative action that needs to be taken. We specialise in Electrical switchboard and equipment, but we are able to scan any device that may fail due to temperature. Equipment such as commercial fridges and freezers, water and steam pipes, cooling or heating devices, motors and machinery and computers and servers are all sensitive to excessive heat.
Emergency Evacuation Lighting Maintenance
ETTiS licenced Technicians are able to complete 6 monthly tests, 12 monthly tests and all repairs and maintenance on your Exit and Emergency Light.
Lighting Maintenance and lamp replacement
Electrical Test, Tag & Inspection Services have licenced Technicians and can carry out all your lighting maintenance and lamp replacements.
Microwave Oven Testing
The Australian Government has an established authority on radiation called the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA).
It is our recommendation that you regularly check that your microwave oven is clean, free from rust or corrosion and has no signs of damage door, hinges or latches. If your microwave oven has any problems in this regard, you should replace it, or have it repaired immediately.
